Postal Charges

At Village Green Soaps we believe in ensuring that our Customers are aware of postal charges and also that our charges are kept to the minimum. The charges shown below therefore reflect the costs of using UK postal services together with packaging. We have endeavoured to minimise the recent impact of increased postal charges and these will be continuously reviewed.

UK Mainland Standard Rates

First Class Royal Mail delivery is used to UK Mainland, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight. Normally you should allow 2-5 working days. It is normal for Royal Mail to leave a card suggesting delivery options if no-one is at home at time of delivery and the parcel will not fit through letterbox.

European Countries

We can send small parcels weighing up to 2Kg to European countries using Royal Mail. Parcels are handled in the UK by Royal Mail but delivery in your own country will be handled by your local postal service. Delivery to European countries will take slightly longer than to UK Mainland however the total time is dependent, not only on Royal Mail, but also on your local postal service, together with air freighting. If the parcel exceeds 2Kg we will email you advising the postal change, for your agreement, before shipping.

International

Parcels will be dispatched promptly however the delivery time will vary dependent on the country to which the parcel is being shipped. It may also be delayed on entry dependent on import requirements of each particular country. Again the charges below are limited to parcels up to 2Kg and we will email, for your agreement, with actual charges, if the parcel exceeds that weight.

Returns

We have no reason to believe you will not be delighted with your purchase. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase please contact us using the contact form on the website. Please clearly state the reasons for your concerns and we will attempt to resolve the problem, in the first instance by email or telephone, to the satisfaction of yourselves and Village Green Soaps. If it becomes necessary to return any ordered items the return cost will be at your expense unless we agree otherwise. Any refund agreed by Village Green Soaps will not be made until a returned item is in our possession.
