Sweet Pea is our quintessential English country garden candle. It has a gorgeous, sweet floral scent that will transport the pretty mixed pastel colours of the sweet pea flowers into your home.
For a limited time only the candle is available on our website following its success at our events this Summer.
Happy Christmas! Christmas came and went this year with the blink of an eye. We had no snow just unseasonably mild weather with lots of wind and rain around the UK.
We had a wonderful build up to the festive season and we appreciated all of you for supporting us at the shows and events we attended. It means a lot to us and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2016!
So to keep things festive here are the Village Green Westies bringing you a little bit of seasonal cheer all be it taken a little time ago when we last had snow.
Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year!
With the summer months in full swing we love a visit to Cotswold Lavender near Snoweshill. On a beautiful day the tourists are there in force taking in the heady aroma of the rows and rows of lavender on show. You can see all the different varieties available and view where they extract the oils from the harvested flowers to make their beautiful essential oils. Over the years we have bought many of their little plants for our own garden but do still love to go and see the annual rows of purple blooms. If you’ve never visited one of the many Lavender fields around the country during July I thoroughly recommend it.
Views from our Village We are very lucky to live in a beautiful part of the country, nestled in rolling Gloucestershire countryside on the edge of the Cotswolds. One of my favourite views coming into our little village down the hill shows just what a peaceful and pretty location it is. Most Saturdays there is the local football team playing on the Village Green or the local cricket squad during the summer months. On a clear day you can see for miles over towards the Welsh hills on the other side of the River Severn.
During the summer months our Gardeners soap comes into its element. After a busy day in the garden when your hands are covered in grime this soap will clean with the aid of added poppy seeds and ground olive stones that will easily help shift that mud!! Filled with nourishing shea butters, specialty oils and a combination of pure essential oils this soap will keep those green fingers clean, refreshed and beautifully moisturised. Whats not to love?
